INDUSTRIALLY TRANSLUCENT-PRIMED EXTERIOR CLADDING BOARDS
PAINTING CONDITIONS
The surface to be painted must be dry. The moisture content of the wood must not exceed 20% of the dry weight of the wood. During painting and drying, the temperature of the air, surface, and paint must be above +5°C (41°F), and the relative humidity must be below 80%. Avoid painting in direct sunlight.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove any loose material, dust, and dirt from the surface. Wash any moldy areas with a mold wash solution, rinse thoroughly with water, and allow to dry before painting. Uncoated nails and other corroding metal parts must be painted with FERREX anti-corrosion paint.
PAINTING PROCESS
A wood surface translucently primed with TEKNOL 1888 can be topcoated with WOODEX translucent wood preservative.
Paint the cross-cut ends of the boards very carefully.
